Informatics Diliman is spearheading the holding of an Informatics Battle of the Bands with the slogan, B.A.ttle I.T. Out. This will be the first event of its kind that has set noble objectives of uniting students, teachers and school personnel of the different colleges and institutes of Informatics starting with those located in Metro Manila; raising funds for the scholarship of needy Informatics students; and showcasing the talents of Informatics students. The event will be held on March 23, 2010 from 6:00 to 10:00 P.M. at the Metro Concert Bar. It has to be emphasized that the organizers led by Informatics Diliman through its Business Society and CSI with the guidance of Engr. Basaen, EVP, have put all precautionary, safety, security, value-guided and Informatics policy-governed rules. Interested Informatics student bands are invited to apply and register with the Informatics Diliman Business Society. Tickets at P250/person are now available at the Diliman campus through the president of the CSI and former BS president, IC Mariano.
