RCNMH Operation: “Hands On” I.T. Training at INFORMATICS NORTH EDSA

On July 18, 2009, Rotary Club of New Manila Heights (RCNMH) President Boone Ongchoco, together with Informatics North EDSA Deputy
Managing Director Tas Millena, signed a Memorandum of Agreement with R.I. District 3780 Governor Dulce Coyukiat for the offering of the TESDA Pangulong Gloria Scholarships (PGS) to all Rotary Clubs in the District.

RCNMH, being the official partner of Informatics North EDSA in the rollout and implementation of the TESDA PGS scholarships, has generously
and willingly extended the availment of 1,000 of these scholarships to all Rotary Clubs under RI District 3780. The courses under the scholarship
program include Programming (Java and Microsoft.NET), Computer Hardware Servicing, and Finishing Course for Call Center Agents. A token transporation and meal allowance is also provided for the scholars.

R.I. District 3780, thru its Rotary Clubs, will simply have to search and recruit applicants for scholarship and submit their application forms
to RCNMH for online or paper screening. Successful applications are then turned over to the designated testing and training facilities either in RCNMH-adopted school P. Bernardo High School, Informatics North EDSA
or Informatics Fairview for the National Career Achievement Exam or Youth Proiling for Starring Careers (YP4SC).

RCNMH, thru its “Karunungan at Kabuhayan” Center, Rotary Clubs From District 3780, and TESDA, thru its Manpower Proile Database, are RCNMH Making Headlines expected to provide referral services to all graduates with the end view of achieving at least sixty percent (60%) employment within one year after the completion of the training program.
